NORTHRIDGE, Calif.---CSUN concludes a three-game road trip (all against 2021 post-season teams) to end the month of November Saturday at the University of Texas.

Originally scheduled for a noon PST start, the game has been moved up one hour to 11 a.m. PST. Alex Loeb and Andrea Lloyd will have the call on the Longhorn Network. All links will be on GoMatadors.com.

Texas enters Saturday's game ranked 14th in the AP Top 25 poll and 16th in the WBCA Top 25 poll. The Longhorns fell to 3-1 after dropping a 74-70 overtime decision to No. 10/11 Tennessee last Sunday. Aliyah Matharu scored a career-high 27 points against the Vols and leads the team in scoring at 18.3 points per game clip.

Three other players; Kyndall Hunter (13.5), Rori Harmon (12.3), and Joanne Allen-Taylor (11.3) are averaging in double figures. This is the first meeting between CSUN and Texas in women's basketball. The Matadors are playing an opponent from the Big 12 for the sixth time and are 1-4 against teams from the conference.

CSUN improved to 2-2 with an 81-75 victory at Fresno State Tuesday night. Fresno native Tess Amundsen had a happy homecoming against the Bulldogs. The 6-0 forward scored 31 points in leading CSUN past the Bulldogs 81-75.

Amundsen went 10-of-17 from the field, 4-of-7 from three-point range, and 7-of-8 from the free-throw line. She grabbed a team-high seven rebounds and added an assist and a steal. The 81 points were the most scored by CSUN since the Matadors fell 99-81 to Notre Dame in the first round of the 2018 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament.

Jordyn Jackson scored 18 points against Fresno State, 16 of which came in the second half. Anaiyah Tu'ua posted 13 points, 11 of which were scored in the first half. Jackson charted a team-high six assists against the Bulldogs.
