RENO, Nev. - Playing without two starters, the CSUN Women's Volleyball team evened the match with a dominating set two win before Sacramento State won the final two sets to defeat the Matadors 3-1 in match two of the Nevada Classic Tournament Friday at Virginia Street Gym.

COACH SUSIE TERRUSAÂ SAID
"Taylor (Orshoff) had a good match for us hitting .400 but it's hard to win a match when you commit 36 errors. We hit .647 in winning set two so hopefully, we can build on that as we play our final non-conference match against Nevada tomorrow."Â Â
SET 1
The Hornets blew open the opening set by out-scoring the Matadors 10-2 to snap a 6-6 tie. Trailing 16-8, the Matadors got a kill from Lexi McLeod to pull within 16-9 but Sac State answered by claiming four of the next five points to open up a double-digit lead at 20-10. Leading 19-11 following an Orshoff kill, Layla Cederlind stepped to the service line and her ace fueled a set-clinching 6-0 run giving the Matadors the 25-11 victory.
SET 3
