ACCORDING TO HEAD COACH CARLENE MITCHELL
"I don't know if I am as disappointed on this one as I was at Cal. Our kids are getting the chance to play at the No. 2 team in the country, there is a lot of things you can learn from that. You have to play with discipline and not send a team like Stanford to the line as much as we did. We got a lot of open looks, but we didn't knock them down. Macy competed and we understand why we brought Cheyenne in as a grad student."

Lauren Betts scored 16 of her game-high 18 points in the fourth quarter. Jump recorded 17 Cameron Brink charted a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds. Kiki Iriafen had 10. Cheyenne Givens led CSUN with eight points. Tess Amundsen and Macy Smith both scored seven.
