Sami Garcia recorded the only two hits for the Matadors, a single and a triple off Oregon pitchers Stevie Hanson and Raegan Breedlove.
ACCORDING TO HEAD COACH CHARLOTTE MORGAN
"I thought we did some really good things in the first game. We stayed away from the big inning until the seventh when we let five runs score. I told the team our offensive adjustments came a little too late in the game."
"The second game got away from us early. You can't give good teams like Oregon extra chances with errors. Sami did a really nice job and gave us a chance with her two hits. We are a young team that needs a time to develop, and we will be fine. Every day we can build and peak at the right time."
