ACCORDING TO HEAD COACH CHARLOTTE MORGAN
"From the start, our kids knew we were going to schedule hard and playing UCLA and Oregon right off the bat. The kids did a good job of not letting the first three games get in their head, they learned from their mistakes, and they came out ready to play today against Nevada. We didn't allow any extra base hits today and if we allow just one run, we have a chance to win. The pitching staff did a great job today. Allie came in and did a good job of closing."
"We will be on the road for four weeks. This is going to be an opportunity to play some great teams on the road. We start at San Diego State's tournament and then we will play in the Mary Nutter Tournament. The environment is very similar to an NCAA Tournament where teams are from all over the country. We will get to stay in California throughout, finishing in Riverside and San Diego. This will prepare us for the future playing on the road in the Big West Conference."
