GAME 1

- Taking advantage of a two-out Cal Poly error, the Matadors scored five runs in the bottom of the second. Sami Garcia's triple with the bases loaded drove in three runs to highlight the scoring spree.
- Freshman Vinessa Nunez hit her first home run of the year, a three-run blast, in the bottom of the fourth to raise CSUN's advantage to 8-0.
- Kenedee Jamerson threw a two-hitter for CSUN. She struck out three and did not walk a batter. Jamerson needed only 65 pitches (46 were strikes) to record her fourth shutout.
- Jaymi Steward and Kaylee Escutia both recorded two hits for the Matadors.
GAME 2
- Steward went 3-for-4 and tied her career-high with five RBI to lead CSUN to a 9-1 victory over Cal Poly to close the day.
- The Matadors scored the game's opening run in the bottom of the first on a two-out Mustangs' error.
- Aaliyah Swan, a senior, hit her first career home run with one out in the bottom of the second to give CSUN a 2-0 lead. The third Cal Poly error of the game occurred with two outs later in the second. With the inning still alive, Steward doubled in Alexis Lemus.
- Cal Poly's fourth error of the game led to a four-run Matadors' rally, which featured a two-RBI single from Steward.
- The Mustangs' Lily Amos drove in a run with a two-out single in the top of the fourth.
- CSUN loaded the bases in the bottom of the fifth with one out. Steward singled up the middle to drive in Mikayla Carman and Nunez to end the game.
- Alexis Martinez picked up her team-leading sixth victory in the circle. Martinez tossed a four-hitter and struck out a pair.
- Steward previously drove in five RBI against Dartmouth on Mar. 15, 2019.
- Saturday was the first time since May 8, 2010, in which CSUN won both ends of a Big West doubleheader by invoking the 8-run mercy rule in both games (UC Riverside, 11-1 and 8-0).
