COACH MICHELLE WINKLER SAID
"We're all walking away from this tournament excited we finished in the top-five, but know we left so many shots out there. We were only a handful of shots out of third place, but we battled as best we could in the freezing conditions. Going into conference, we now have the confidence to compete against better teams. If we can play decent in Virginia in March, we should be able to score low in California!"
The Matadors will be off from tournament play until Apr. 10 when the opening round of the 2022 Big West Women's Golf Championship gets underway at San Luis Obispo Country Club.Â
