CSUN to Compete in Bryan Clay Invitational & Mt. SAC Relays This Week

NORTHRIDGE, Calif.—The CSUN Men's and Women's Track and Field teams return to action this week and will be entered in both the Bryan Clay Invitational (hosted by Azusa Pacific), and the Mt. SAC Relays.
The Matadors will enter the following at the Bryan Clay Invitational;
CSUN will have the following competitors at the Mt. SAC Relays;
The CSUN Women's Track and Field team picked up two wins, while the Matador Men recorded six top-three performances last Saturday at the University of California's Brutus Hamilton Invitational. Winning for CSUN were Alexander (100m) and Ndjip-Nyemeck (100m hurdles). Garity turned in the top individual performance for CSUN as he finished second in the 5000m, recording a time of 14:49.29.
The Matador men are ranked 22nd in the West Region, while the CSUN women are ranked 31st. Individually, Pitts is 27th in the West Region in the 400m (:46.42). The men's 4x400m relay is 42nd (3:10.75). On the women's side, Ndjip-Nyemeck has the 21st fastest 100m hurdles time (:13.37). The 4x100m relay is 40th (:45.75).
