COACH JIM BRACKEN SAID
"I was hoping to get a few more guys under par today but I thought we played well and were more consistent as a team. I'm not going to lose any sleep over shooting 5-under; it's still very  early in the season and I know our best golf is yet to come."
The Matadors will be off from tournament competition until Oct, 9 when they host the first of three rounds of the 26th annual Bill Cullum Invitational at The Oaks Club at Valencia.
