COACH JIM BRACKEN SAID
"I think we hit the ball better than we scored today, the guys were just disappointed in their execution. We just didn't get up and down the last part of round two and again today. It's certainly not the way we wanted to finish, but it's just our first spring tournament. We'll have to step up and play well at our next event, the Wyoming tournament is a very strong field but the guys know we're capable of playing well."
The Matadors will be back in action Mar. 1 with the first of three rounds at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate at The Classic Club in Palm Desert.
