The tournament begins on Saturday at 8 a.m. PST when CSUN faces Weber State and concludes at 6 p.m. PST against Texas A&M-Commerce.

Sunday's action begins at 8 a.m. PST when the Matadors face Nebraska. The tournament concludes at 1 p.m. PST against the host, Arizona.

ABOUT WEBER STATEÂ Â
Weber State is 5-9 after splitting four games at the Utah Tech Tournament last week.
Â
The top Wildcats' hitter is McKell McCuiston, who is batting .478. Lauren Hoe has a team-high four home runs and a team-high 16 RBI.
Â
Mandy Johnson is 5-3, posting five complete games in 43 innings of work for Weber State. She has struck out 26 and walked 24 with two shutouts.
Â
CSUN and Weber State split two games last season during the University of San Diego Tournament. The Wildcats lead the all-time series 7-5.

ABOUT THE LIONSÂ Â
Texas A&M-Commerce is 2-14 after losing five games last weekend at the Baylor Invitational. Four of those losses were to nationally ranked opponents in Baylor and Maryland.

Kaydee Bennett's .313 batting average is a club best. Diamond Sefe's two home runs and eight RBI are tops amongst the Lions' offense.

Five different pitchers have made at least four appearances for Texas A&M-Commerce. Anissa Arredondo has both wins for the Lions in the circle. She is 2-6 in a program-best 34 innings. Â

Nebraska improved to 9-6 last week after going 4-1 at the University of New Mexico Troy Cox Classic. The Cornhuskers outscored their opponents 31-1 in their four victories. This week, the Huskers received one vote in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Top 25 poll.

Billie Andrews begins the week fifth in Division I in home runs (6) and ninth in home runs per game (0.5). She is hitting .340 and with a team-high 13 RBI.

Courtney Wallace is 5-3 with three shutouts and a team-high 38 innings. Sarah Harness has struck out a club-best 39 in 28.2 innings on her way to a 3-2 mark.

CSUN is playing Nebraska for the first time since 2018 when the Matadors defeated the Huskers 10-5 at the Cal State Fullerton Easton Invitational. As a result, the all-time series is tied 5-5.

The Wildcats are 10-5 after going 3-2 at the Razorback Invitational last week. During the tournament, Arizona was 1-2 against the then No. 7 Arkansas.

On Wednesday, the Wildcats defeated CSU Bakersfield 9-1 before welcoming the tournament field to the Hillenbrand Invitational.

Carlie Scupin is seventh in Division I this week in RBI with 19. Scupin and teammate Devyn Netz have both hit five home runs. Blaise Biringer's .426 batting average is a team-high.
