CSUN Wins Three Times at Steve Scott Invitational
4/29/2023 6:57:00 PM | Men's Track & Field, Women's Track & Field
IRVINE, Calif.—The CSUN men's and women's track and field teams completed the regular season Apr. 28-29 at UC Irvine's Anteater Stadium.
ACCORDING TO HEAD COACH JUSTIN JOHNSON
"We had some great performances this weekend. I am happy with those who took full advantage of the opportunity to compete. This close to conference, I thought the team would compete better as a whole, but we have a little bit more time left before the Big West championship, and we need to come together as a team if we hope to achieve the goals we have set for the team this year."
"With that said, we have done a great job this season, and I know our team is capable of much more. However, with success comes higher expectations, and now it is time for us to raise our focus and competitive mentality. I am sure things will improve the next time we hit the track."
