ACCORDING TO HEAD COACH JIM BRACKEN
"We played good golf the last two rounds in Palm Desert and we played well in the first round today. Felix shot 64, he's been hitting the ball really well and was able to make some putts today. He's doing a good job of staying in the present and playing good golf. We'll finish up round two tomorrow morning and hopefully have a good final round. We're tied with Cal State Fullerton and will be paired head-to-head with them tomorrow so it will be a good challenge."
The Matadors will be paired with the Titans, UC Irvine, and British Columbia Utah Tech for Tuesday's final round.
