NOTES OF THE MATCH
ACCORDING TO COACH GARY VICTOR
"This was a hard-fought win. UCI came out strong after the doubles point and won four first sets. We were much more mentally tough than last match and kept it together. Yuliia and Sasha set the tone in doubles, and Vika and Elena winning three setters after losing first sets was a huge boost mentally and spiritually for the team. Angela also had a great day, she's a fantastic competitor. The support from the rest of the team continues to be outstanding."
UP NEXT
CSUN returns home for a pair of matches on Tuesday. The Matadors host Chaminade at 12:30 p.m. and take on Westmont at 3 p.m. at Matador Tennis Complex.
