NOTES OF THE GAME:
POST MATCH COMMENTS
"I think I played way more level-headed than I did my last match," said Goodman. "These have been my first matches with the team since joining the lineup, so it's been a learning process. I feel like I'm getting a little better every match and I'm happy about that. Angela and I played solid in our doubles match. We didn't try to do too much and that really secured the win today."
"I felt pretty good throughout most of the match and felt in control," said Ho. "There was one point in the second set that it was pretty close, and I was down a break, but I was able to hold it together, get back on track and keep fighting for every point.
"Once Elena and I were able to get a few matches under our belt, I felt like our confidence got better and our chemistry really worked," said Ho about her teaming with Goodman. "We've been capitalizing on our strengths, staying positive and supporting each other the best we can out there each match."
