ABOUT LAST WEEK
CSUN traveled to Hawai'i for two duals in O'ahu. The first matchup was a 4-1 win against the Hawai'i Pacific Sharks in Kailua for the Matadors first win of the season. CSUN would drop its next contest - its Big West opener - to the Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine in Manoa by a score of 5-2.

Junior Angela Ho was a perfect 4-0 in her matches, winning each battle in doubles and singles that she played in. Facing the Sharks on Friday, Ho squared off against Jayanne Palma, and won in straight sets 6-1, 7-5, which is the match that ended up clinching the victory. In doubles action, Ho along with her partner Yuliia Zhytelna blanked the duo of Palma and Evi Roobool, 6-0.
Â
The very next day, Ho bested Nikola Homolkova of UH in straight sets 6-3, 6-2. And in doubles play, her and Zhytelna were victorious yet again, as they took down the team of Ana Vilcek and Homolkova, 6-4 on Saturday.
