Knight has enjoyed another outstanding indoor season for CSUN in 2025. He would repeat as MPSF Male Athlete of the Year, becoming the first Matador athlete to win two major MPSF awards in any sport. At the 2025 MPSF Indoor Championships in Spokane, Knight won the weight throw going away with a toss of 23.26m (76-3.75). That win also gave him the distinction of being the first two-time weight throw champion in CSUN history.
Knight would also break his own school record in the weight throw at the Nevada Invitational with a toss of 24.87m (81-7.25). That performance earned him National Athlete of the Week accolades as he registered the third-best throw in collegiate history and the eight-best in world history.
He held the best weight throw mark nearly all of the indoor season before he was bested by Wyoming's Daniel Reynolds. Knight will enter the 2025 NCAA Indoor Championships with the second-best weight throw toss on the campaign.
During the course of the indoor season, Knight was also placed on the 2025 Bowerman Award watch list, becoming the first CSUN Track & Field student-athlete to make the list.
In 2024, Knight would finish second in the weight throw at the NCAA Indoor Championships in Boston. He would set a then school-record toss of 24.14m (79-2.5) at that event.
