NOTES OF THE GAMES
ACCORDING TO COACH MATT WARSHAW
On the Austin Game
"Home openers always bring out a team that's a little more amped up than usual and it showed early in the game. We settled in nicely on the offensive end and got the win."
On the Concordia Game
"Good early season test for us playing a technical Concordia team. We were able to weather the storm and control the pace. Proud of our group for staying in the fight from start to finish. Two road games tomorrow to finish out the week."
UP NEXT
The Matadors return to the road on Saturday for the Och Tamale Invite, hosted by Redlands University. CSUN meets Occidental College at 9:30 a.m. before facing La Verne at 2 p.m. Coverage of the two matches will be available at FloCollege with a subscription.Â
