2022 (FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Saw action in two long jumps...finished 17th at the University of Arizona Willie Williams Classic with a leap of 22-3 3/4...placed second in the long jump at the CSUN Invitational with a season best 22-11.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2021 graduate of Eliteschule des Sports Alter Teichweg…the 2017 German U16 champion in the long jump…became the 2019 German U18 champion in the long jump despite being seriously injured on his final jump of the competition…posted prep bests in the outdoor 100m of :10:97, :22.04 in the outdoor 200m, :36.70 in the outdoor 300m, and 24-7 1/4 in the outdoor long jump…prep bests in the indoor 60m was :7.14, :22.29 in the indoor 200m, and 23-0 3/4 in the indoor long jump.

PERSONAL: Son of Charles Mireku and Rose Miech…a Marketing-Business Admin major...favorites include FC Barcelona, Usain Bolt, Kevin Hart, Shay Mitchell, XY Aktenzeichen, Parasite, Venom 1 & 2, Hamburgers, Abba, and Kodak Black & Juice WRLD…chose CSUN because he felt a great bond with Coach Vanitta Kinard and he feels that he can be successful…says his greatest sports moment so far is returning from his serious injury in 2020 after 2019 German U18 competition…says the best thing about being an athlete is that you are the only one responsible for your form, success, and results…says the toughest thing about being an athlete is staying on top, in form, develop, and perform anywhere you go…the person in history he would like to meet is Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr…would like to switch places for one day with Kodak…would like to have dinner with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and Kodak…says the best advice he’s been given is believe and fight until the very end…his advice to young people is fight for your dreams and don’t limit your thinking…says his greatest hero is his oldest brother who he says he’s doing everything to help him and make him feel good.
