OUTDOOR: Entered six 400m races, running a season-best time of :50.66 at the Fresno State Bulldog Classic...season-best finish was sixth at the Bulldog Classic...competed in two 200m events, posting a best of :23.27...chosen Academic All-Conference.
INDOOR: Competed in one event, the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Invitational...finished eighth in the 300m (:36.90) and 17th (1:32.91) in the 600m

OUTDOOR: Ran the 400m seven times, recording a season best of :50.49 at the University of Arizona Willie Williams Classic...season best finish in the 400m was a sixth at the Cal Poly Open...ran the 200m twice, posting a season best :22.83 in a season best 16th place finish.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
PRIOR TO CSUN: A member of the track and field team at El Camino College from 2019-21…helped ECC finish third at the 2019 CCCAA Track and Field Championship in the 4x400m relay…ran a wind-aided best of :22.92 in the 200m, :50.80 in the 400m, and 2:01.55 in the 800m...graduated with an AA in Kinesiology and AS General Science.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2018 graduate of West Torrance High School…won the 400m at the 2016 and 2017 Pioneer League finals…won the 400m at the 2016 and 2017 Pioneer League Championship and finished second in the 400m at the 2015 Pioneer League finals...placed third in the event at the 2018 Pioneer meet...was second in the 200m at the 2017 Pioneer League finals…helped West Torrance win the 4x400m at the 2017 Pioneer League finals and the 4x100m relay at the 2016 Pioneer League finals…chosen second team All-Area in 2016 and 2017…ran prep bests of :11.49 in the 100m, :22.33 in the 200m, and :49.98 in the 400m…team won Pioneer League titles in 2016, 2017, and 2018...named 2018 WTHS Special Teams Player of the Year for the football team.
PERSONAL: Son of Kevin Froning and Katie Bosko…stepfather is Jim Houlihan…stepmother is Dorothy Froning…a Kinesiology-Exercise Science major...favorites include the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Michael Cherry, Michael Johnson, Fred Kerley, Kurt Russell, Margot Robbie, Demon Slayer, The 1982 movie, The Thing, Chicken Shami from La Zeez, City Morgue, XXXTentacion, and his Instagram page…chose CSUN because it is a good Division I program and his relationship with assistant coach Jacob Yowell…says his greatest sports moment so far is breaking 50 seconds in the 400m in high school or anytime I beat Coach Yowell’s High School Team (North)...says the best thing about being an athlete is winning and then seeing how well he pushed himself…says the toughest thing about being an athlete is knowing you won’t PR every race…says the best athlete he has competed against is Christopher Taylor…the most famous person he has met is Mark Wahlberg…the people he would like change places with for one day are Usain Bolt and Michael Johnson…if he could have dinner with two people in history they would be Jay-Z and Kanye West…says the best advice he has received is better to have it and not need it, then need it and not have it…his advice to young people is to try a sport and stick with it, it will make you healthier…his hero is Chase Pitts as he’s the best athlete I’ve ever seen.
