2013 (FRESHMAN): Ran six times, posting a season best 5k time of 20:10.70 at the Highlander Invitational...charted season best 6k time of 25:06.00 at the UC Riverside Invitational...finished 65th at the Big West Championship with a time of 26:32.80.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2013 graduate of Edison High School...was the league cross country champion as well as the 1,600m champion...also ran the 800m and 3,200m...ran for coach Jeannie Formosa...graduated with a 3.9 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Maryanne and John Weiss...major is deaf studies...favorites include the TV show "Doctor Who", apples and the music of Monsters and Men...says she chose CSUN for the Deaf Studies program...says the best thing about being an athlete is "running all day every day"...says the best advice she's been given is"run past the finish line."
