Domanik Stratford appeared in nine matches and 16 sets as a redshirt junior ... was primarily a serving specialist during the season ... recorded one assist against Cal Lutheran (Jan. 25).
CSUN - 2019 (Redshirt Sophomore)
Stratford appeared in 15 matches and 23 sets as a redshirt sophomore ... finished the season with 17 kills while averaging 0.74 kills per set ... hit a career-high .394 on 33 attacks ... also added 11 digs (0.48 dps), one block and one assist ... connected for a career-high 10 kills, hitting .500 in CSUN's win over UC Merced (Jan. 11) ... took a career-high 16 swings against the Bobcats ... hit .750 in the Matadors' 3-0 win over Cal Lutheran (Feb. 8) ... also posted career-highs of four digs and two blocks against UC Merced.
CSUN - 2018Â (Redshirt Freshman)
Stratford appeared in eight matches and 12 sets in his first season on the active roster ... finished the season with eight kills (0.67 kps) while hitting .353 on 17 attempts ... also posted five digs and a pair of aces over his 12 sets of action ... had a season-high five kills in his first collegiate start against UC Merced (Jan. 12) ... hit .500 on 10 errorless swings against the Bobcats while also serving his first two collegiate aces ... hit .333 with a pair of digs in the Big West Tournament quarterfinals against No. 11 UC Santa Barbara (Apr. 19).

Stratford earned three varsity letters in volleyball at Bishop Moore Catholic High School in Orlando, Fla. ... earned second team All-State and All-Area honors as an outside hitter for the Hornets ... his team won the state championship as well as the Florida Fest title ... was the team leader with 309 kills ... started his final two seasons and was named team captain as a senior in 2016 ... graduated in 2016 with a 3.7 grade point average.

Born in Dayton, Ohio ... parents are Kerri and Justin Stratford ... has two younger sisters, Victoria and Abby ... favorites include actors Chris Evans and Natalie Portman, the TV show "Family Guy", the movies "Matrix", "The Avengers 1 & 2" and "Kung Fu Panda 3"... says he chose CSUN because of "the feel of the campus, the coaches, the team and the volleyball program" ... says the best thing about being an athlete is "the people you meet and the places you go"... major is Business.
