Tomsia appeared in 25 matches and 85 sets during his junior season ... started 22 matches for the Matadors ... ranked second on the squad with 252 kills while averaging 3.07 kills per set which ranked ninth in the Big West ... also finished second on the team with a career-high 29 aces, ranking seventh in the Big West averaging 0.39 aces per set ... also was fourth on the team with 120 digs (1.46 dps) and fifth with 40 blocks (0.49 bps) ... put down a career-high 24 kills against No. 9 Lewis (Jan. 26) ... posted his first collegiate double-double with 14 kills and a career-high 15 digs in CSUN's 3-2 win No. 13 Purdue-Fort Wayne (Jan. 18) ... finished with double figures in kills 12 times ... hit a season-high .455 (6-1-11) while matching his career-high with five aces against Cal Lutheran (Feb. 8) ... knocked down a match-high 19 kills in CSUN's 3-2 loss to No. 3 UC Santa Barbara in the first round of the Big West Tournament at the Stan Sheriff Center in Hawai'i ... was one of five Matadors to earn Big West All-Academic Team honors.

Tomsia appeared in 17 matches and 39 sets in his first season at CSUN ... started six times at the outside hitter spot ... finished the season with 56 kills (1.49 kps) while hitting .195 on 128 attempts ... ranked fifth on the Matadors with 11 aces (0.28 per set) and also added 30 digs (0.77 dps) and 12 blocks ... pounded a season-high 14 kills on .348 hitting in his collegiate debut against Saint Francis (Jan. 4) ... also reached double figures with 12 kills (.268) to go with a season-high five aces in CSUN's 3-0 win at Stanford (Jan. 17) ... was one of four Matadors to earn Big West All-Academic Team honors.
