2018 (SOPHOMORE): Started 32-of-35 appearances…posted 15 hits in 78 at-bats…charted a season three hits against Fresno State Feb. 25…tallied two doubles and four runs...ended season with five RBI…posted a .264 on-base percentage and a .218 slugging percentage...third on the team in assists with 54.
PRIOR TO CSUN: Hit .292 and drove in 14 runs for FIU as a freshman in 2017…appeared in 40 games for the Panthers, starting 34 times…recorded eight runs and three doubles…was one of three FIU player to produce four-hit game during the season (Mar. 15 against Fairfield).
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2016 graduate of Rio Mesa High School…selected first team All-League in 2014, 2015, and 2016…named team MVP as a junior and as a senior…lettered in soccer for Rio Mesa.
PERSONAL: Born Feb. 19, 1998…daughter of Christine and Joe Soto…a criminal justice major…favorites include Serena Williams, Zac Efron, Blake Lively, The Challenge, the White Chicks’ movie, and tostadas…the best advice she has been given is to control the controllables…her greatest hero is her dad who is the strongest person she knows.
