2019 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 13 games, starting 11 times.…hit .321 (9-of-28) with one RBI…charted a .357 slugging and .387 on-base percentage…recorded three hits against Santa Clara Mar. 10…scored two runs…her 99 putouts were the third most on the team…recored a career high 14 putouts against UTSA Mar. 1…committed one error in 103 total chances for a .990 fielding percentage.
2018 (FRESHMAN): Started 27-of-29 appearances at catcher…led team in putouts with 143…committed four errors in 155 chances, a .974 fielding percentage (143-8-4)…threw out five runners attempting to steal in 20 tries…hit. 257 with one home run and 10 RBI…posted a .342 on-base percentage and a .314 slugging percentage…scored three times.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of Santiago High School…coach was Brittney Gossett…named team defensive Player of the Year during her career…a four-year letter winner…named team MVP of the Santiago girls basketball team during prep career…graduated with a 3.6 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Jenifer Jaime and Artemio Jaime…stepmother is Claudia Medina…stepfather is Robert Charron…a exploratory major…has one brother, Ricardo, and one sister, Anniah….favorites include the Los Angeles Lakers, Kobe Bryant, Will Smith, Jennifer Anniston, Stranger Things, Herbie Fully Loaded, tacos, and Rihanna...chose CSUN because of the coaches, the academics, and felt at home…her advice to young people is “educate yourself outside of school and be aware of the world”…her greatest hero is her grandma.
