Zaloom lettered in both indoor and beach volleyball at Carlsbad High School in Carlsbad, Calif. ... was a first team All-State outside hitter for the Lancers and coach Frank Massa ... also earned first team all-conference honors and Rookie of the Year accolades for the indoor team ... was named to the Under Armour Watch List as a beach player in 2017 and 2018 ... graduated in 2018 with a 3.6 grade point average.

Born October 9, 2000 in Riverhead, N.Y. ... parents are Michelle and Charles Zaloom ... has one brother, Charles IV and two sisters, Josephine and Anna ... her mom played collegiate volleyball at George Washington University and was an Olympic rower in 1992 and 1996 ... favorites include chocolate, TV show "Criminal Minds" and the movie "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" ... says the best thing about being an athlete is "everything" and the toughest is "time management" ... says her family is the one thing that always makes her smile... plans on majoring in Pre-Accounting.
