Shawnee De Oliveira played in 14 of CSUN's 25 beach matches in her first season ... paired with Cassidy Rosso 12 times and with Daniella Molinari twice ... when paired with Rosso, finished 8-4 in dual matches which included an 0-1 record at No. 5 and an 8-3 record playing the extra match ... seven of the pairs' eight wins came in straight sets ... finished a perfect 2-0 playing in the No. 5 match with Molinari, posting wins over Vanguard (Apr. 21) and CSU Bakersfield (Apr. 21).
TRABUCO HILLS HIGH SCHOOL
De Oliveira lettered all four years at Trabuco Hills High School in Mission Viejo, Calif. ... played libero and outside hitter for coaches Craig Moothart and Dave Holloway ... earned first team All-Sea View League honors as a senior in 2017 and was a second team all league selection in 2015 and 2016 ... earned the Coaches Award and Best Defensive Player Award as a senior ... the Mustangs won the CIF Championship in 2016 ... graduated in 2017 with a 4.0 grade point average while receiving the Golden State Seal Merit diploma and Hispanic Honors Society accolades.
