2013 (SENIOR): Teamed with Sabrina Man-Son-Hing in doubles to earn first team All-Big West doubles honors...playing primarily at the No. 1 draw, the tandem went 14-6 and picked up notable victories Cal State Fullerton, UC Santa Barbara twice, New Mexico State, Stetson, Pacific, UC Davis and Iowa...the duo opened the season 13-0 in doubles play...went 11-8 in singles and was 15-6 in doubles...played primarily at the No. 2 draw in singles and posted impressive victories over Cal State Fullerton, New Mexico State, UC Riverside, Eastern Michigan, New Mexico, UC Davis, Iowa and Cal Poly...finished her career with 41-29 (.586) singles record and 52-29 (.642) doubles record.
2012 (JUNIOR): Earned All-Big West Honorable Mention honors in doubles for her work with Nigora Sirojiddinova...the duo went 10-10 overall and 5-3 against Big West opponents...duo had a season-long three-match winning streak...they registered impressive wins over Pacific, Cal Poly, UC Irvine, Portland and UC Santa Barbara...in singles play, finished with an impressive 12-8 overall record and 5-3 mark in Big West play...went 3-2 at No. 3, 3-0 at No. 4 and 3-3 at No. 5...earned Big West Tennis Player of the Week honors on April 4 after defeating UCI in a No. 5 contest....posted a season-long five-match winning streak....recorded notable wins over UCSB, Gonzaga, Portland, UCI, UC Davis, Pacific, Loyola Marymount and San Diego State.
2011 (SOPHOMORE): Posted a 7-5 singles mark and a 15-7 doubles record...registered a 4-2 record in conference doubles play...teamed with Nigora Sirojiddinova to finish 9-2 in No. 3 doubles on the year...duo recorded notable victories over Georgetown, UC Santa Barbara, LMU, Pacific, Cal Poly and UC Irvine...also teamed with Nina Jaworowski (4-5), Lorraine Cheung (1-0) and Brooke Doane (1-0) during the season....finished 2-3 in Big West Conference singles matches...played primarily at No. 5 and No. 6 draws, recording impressive victories over Nevada, Portland and UC Irvine.
2010 (FRESHMAN): Named first team All-Big West in doubles...teamed with Brooke Doane to finish 12-6 in doubles play, all at the No. 1 draw ... duo went 3-4 against Big West opposition...posted impressive victories over Hawai'i, Washington State, Wyoming, Arizona and UC Davis....finished 11-8 in singles play during the 2010 season...played at No. 4 (4-1), No. 5 (4-5) and at No. 6 (3-2)...finished 4-5 against Big West opponents...posted impressive victories over Hawai'i, Washington State, Dartmouth, UC Davis and Pacific.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Vista Murrieta High School...did not play high school tennis.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Mayker and Chang Yang...majoring in Public Health Education...has one sister, Maykim, and two brothers, Gordon and Gilbert...favorites include the LA Lakers, the San Diego Chargers, actor Channing Tatum, actress Jessica Alba, "Pretty Little Liars" and "A Walk to Remember"...says traveling is the best part about being a student-athlete...advice to young people is to "always believe and stay strong"...would cast Shay Mitchell to portray her in a movie about her life...cannot imagine going a week without her phone or listening to music.
