Honorable Mention All-Big West In Doubles
2010 (JUNIOR): Selected honorable mention All-Conference in doubles with Nina Jaworowski...team post a 13-6 overall doubles record, all at the second draw...duo finished 5-3 against Big West opponents...posted impressive wins over San Diego, Washington State, Dartmouth, UC Davis, Pacific, Long Beach State and Portland....finished with an 8-10 overall record in singles play...was 3-5 against Big West opponents...played at No. 2 draw (1-0), No. 3 draw (5-8) and at No. 4 (2-2)...posted impressive wins over Hawai'i, UC Davis and UC Riverside...named Academic All-Conference.
2009 (SOPHOMORE): Finished 8-15 in singles matches and 10-14 overall doubles mark during her sophomore season...played at No. 3 doubles with six different teammates, posting an 8-4 mark with Sandra Kukla...duo helped CSUN clinch doubles point against Pacific at the Big West Tournament...duo also picked up wins over UC Irvine, UC Riverside, Columbia and San Francisco...recorded six-match winning streak in singles competition during month of March...finished year with 3-6 singles mark against Big West opponents...registered notable singles wins over Memphis, Pacific and San Francisco...one of two Matadors to appear in all 24 matches during 2009 season...named Academic All-Conference.
2008 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in three matches for Northridge in singles at the No. 6 position, posting a 1-2 record...recorded first victory with straight-set 6-0, 6-0, victory over Leslie Begley of CSU Bakersfield.
HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letter winner for Stevens High School...named to All-State team from 2003-2006 and was named State MVP from 2002- 2006...a member of state champions in 2002, 2004, 2005 and 2006...was state singles champion in 2003, 2005 and 2006 and a part of state doubles champions in 2005 and 2006.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Carolyn and Daryl Paluch...graduated with a degree in Psychology in 2010...lists some of her favorites as Soccer superstar David Beckham, the Minnesota Twins, the television show "Friends" and the movie "Little Miss Sunshine"...chose Northridge because of the weather, the location and the tennis...says her favorite thing about being an athlete is staying in shape and meet- ing people and the worst part is having to miss out on fun things...would like to be stranded on a desert island with Zac Efron.
