ACCORDING TO COACH JASON FLOWERS
- "With a week of practice, we worked on several things and I thought we did a much better job of executing. We had balanced scoring and Lauren (Shymkewicz) was a bucket away from being in double figures. If we get that kind of offensive attack throughout conference play, we can end up being the team we want to be."
- "UCSB's defensive game plan, much like the rest of the conference was to focus on Channon. They did a good job of that in the first half. She stayed with it and did some other things well. With her having four assists and no turnovers, that's a huge number."
