NOTES OF THE MATCH
ACCORDING TO COACH GARY VICTOR
"We are blessed with an incredibly resilient group of young ladies. After losing the doubles point with match points at No. 3, our team stayed with it and made a goal to fight for everything. I couldn't be happier for Nicole. She has worked so hard and finally looked like the player we have seen in practice. Emma beat a nationally-ranked senior, Angela pulled out a tough win and Vika fought back from a set down and 2-4 in the third. Sasha played well and had chances to win. They are all resilient and we couldn't be more proud of them."
POST MATCH COMMENTS
"Today was unreal. We came out and had some tight sets in doubles that didn't end up going our way," said West. "But we bounced back and had an amazing team win. My match started slow, but I am pleased I was able to play smart and change my game plan and build on points to come out on top at the end."
