ACCORDING TO COACH JUSTIN JOHNSON
"Day one of the Mt. SAC Relays produced some great weather and great performances today. Dillon Peters and Katherine Shipp-Davis led the way today. Katherine threw a lifetime best and is now sixth all-time in CSUN history in the discus. Dillon won the triple jump on his last attempt. I'm very pleased with everyone's performances today. We took a step in the right direction. We have a little bit more work to do tomorrow, but we got off to a great start."
