OUTDOOR: Recorded a season best time in the 200m (:23.43) and a season best finish in the event (19th) at the CSUN Invitational...posted a season best in the 400m (:51.67) at the University of California Brutus Hamilton Invitational...season best finish in the 400m, a seventh, at the Cal Poly Open...named Academic All-Conference.
INDOOR: DId not compete.
2021 (FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Ran the 400m on two occasions, posting a season-best :53.26t at the UC Riverside Sprint Invitational Apr. 30...entered in the 800m at the Apr. 23 Matador Invitational and finished eighth in a time of 2:07.95.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2020 graduate of San Diego High School…coach was Robert Earl Dean…ran prep-bests of :24.18 in the 200m, and :52.59 in the 400m…also participated in basketball and wrestling.

PERSONAL: Son of Mohammad Ali Mishal and Danna A Yunis…stepmother is Yumn Habjouqaa...a CTVA Provisional Film major...favorites include Wayde Van Niekerk, Leonardo DiCaprio, Natalie Portman, Mad Men, Mashrou Leila, Tyler, the Creator, and Braveheart…favorite food is his mother’s lasagna…chose CSUN for its strong film program and the connection to the track team…the most famous person he has met is Jeffery Henderson…the person in history he would like to meet is Malcolm X…his advice to young people is to do what truly makes you happy…his greatest hero is his mother who he says she is who he is today...he believes any reason I have to be proud of myself is thanks to her. She has taught him that no matter how old you are, how successful, how talented, one should always seek improvement.
