2023 (SOPHOMORE):
CSUN CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in one event, the Pepperdine Waves Invitational...ran 34:02.8 to place 87th.
2022 (FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Ran the 800m four times, posting a best time of 2:14.46 at the Azusa Pacific Franson Classic...best finish in the 800m was a 10th at the University of California Brutus Hamilton Invitational...competed in the 400m at the UC Riverside Chris Rinne Twilight, going :59.21.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
CROSS COUNTRY: Established his 8k best time of 30:14.3 at the Highlander Invitational...finished 65th at the Big West Championship (30:34.0)...ran 30:37.3 over the 4.97m course at The Master's Invitational (131st overall).
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2020 graduate of Centennial High School…coach was David Little…named team MVP as a senior…cross country prep bests were 11:41.20 in the two mile run, 18:49.00 in the 2.9 mile run, 17:59.40 in the three mile run, 19:35.60 in the 4500m, and 18:05.0 in the 5000m…track prep best in the 800m was 2:17.30…a member of the CSF and Spanish Honors Society.

PERSONAL: Son of Bill and Roxanne Routh…a civil engineering major...favorites include in the Los Angeles Dodgers, Eliud Kipchoge, Shemar Moore, Criminal Minds, Quantico, Stepbrothers, Bryson Tiller, Lil Baby, Pasta, and Tacos…chose CSUN for its location and academic programs…says greatest athletic moment so far was running at the CIF D1 Central Section Championships with his high school team…says the best thing about being an athlete is being in great physical shape…says the toughest thing about being an athlete is the discipline of waking up early to go to practice…says the best athlete he has competed against is Isaiah Galindo…the most famous person he has met is Tyga…the person in history he would like to meet is Steve Prefontaine…would like to switch places with Kevin Hart for one day…the two people he would like to have dinner with are Drake and Scarlett Johansson…says the best advice he has been given is that the work you'll put in, is the work you'll put out…his advice to young people is be passionate about what you like…his greatest heroes are his parents who he says have been supportive of everything that he has pursued or wanted for himself.
