PRIOR TO CSUN: Started in goal for Citrus College...recorded 118 saves in 21 games for the Owls, who went 10-7-4..for his efforts, he was named first team All-League.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of Kagoshima Chuou High School...played soccer for three seasons for coach Sota Goryo...named to the first team in the State League of Kagoshima, as well as an All-State player in 2005 and 2006...graduated with a 3.5 GPA.
PERSONAL:Â Son of Yumi and Noriyuki Kaji...has two sisters, Yukiko and Makiko...his father played baseball for Komazawa University in Japan...he lists among his favorites FC Barcelona, former "World's Best Goalkeeper" ('92-'93) Peter Schmeichel, actors Jim Carrey and Angelina Jolie, TV show "Family Guy" and the Star Wars saga, eating sushi and listening to Linkin Park and Bob Marley...chose to come to CSUN for the opportunity to play Division 1 soccer...his greatest sports moment came when his high school team won the state championship...the most famous person he has met is soccer star Ronaldinho and he would most like to meet Albert Einstein...he would most like to have dinner with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie...used to be a sushi chef...the best advice he has received is "'Do-so' is more important than 'say-so'".
