HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Dixon High School…a two-sport athlete for the Rams, playing three season of soccer as a midfielder and one season as kicker on the football team…a three-year starter and captain…earned All-Capital Valley League, team MVP, and Capitol Valley League MVP in his career at Dixon…graduated with a 3.0 GPA.
PERSONAL: Son of Rogelio and Martha Vargas…undecided upon a major…favorites include Will Ferrell, Eva Longoria, Pizza, and Zenedine Zidane…roots for Barcelona…lists greatest sports moment as scoring a goal in the state finals…favorite thing about being an athlete is "you're always in shape", says toughest thing is all the hard work…likes to listen to music before games…likes to "work out and chill" when he has time to relax…best advice he's ever received is "you can do anything you put your mind to"…something interesting that not many people know about him is he's 100% Mexican…can't imagine going a week without a soccer ball.
