2007 (R-SENIOR): Began 2007 by playing on the United States Under-23 Men's National Team which had a two-match tour in Japan in February…despite only making eight starts in eight appearances due to an off-season injury, was named first team All-Conference…scored one goal…took 12 shots, four on goal…taken fourth overall by the Los Angeles Galaxy in the MLS SuperDraft in the Spring of 2008.
2006 (R-JUNIOR): Selected first team All-Conference and second team NSCAA All-Far West Region…one of three Matadors to start all 19 matches…placed fourth on the team with four assists and third with 31 shots…also added a goal for six points…scored in a 4-1 victory over UC Irvine on Oct. 11…had three assists in his last three matches, including two in a win against Oregon State on Oct. 31…had at least one shot in 17 of 19 matches.
2005 (R-SOPHOMORE): Chosen first team All-Conference and third team NSCAA All-Far West Region…led team with six assists, which was also the highest total among Big West defenders and placed him in a tie for third among all conference players…started all 21 matches he appeared in…assisted on the game-winning goal in the Matadors' postseason victory over UC Santa Barbara on Nov. 22…had two assists, including the game-winner, in a victory over UC Davis on Nov. 11…also had a game-winning assist against Dartmouth (Sept. 5)…recorded helpers against Cal Poly (Oct. 2) and Santa Barbara (Oct. 8).
2004 (R-FRESHMAN): Named second team All-Conference…one of two Matadors to start all 19 matches…had seven shots with three of them on goal…named to the U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team during the Spring.
2003 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the CSUN program.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2003 graduate of Highland High School…a three-year letter winner…coach was Danny Young…named Golden League Most Valuable Player as a senior…earned All-Area first-team honors in 2003…helped his team to a Golden League crown in 2003…was the Bulldogs' team captain as a senior…graduated with a 3.2 GPA.
PERSONAL: Son of John and Lynette Franklin…a graphic design major…his three sisters are Kimmion, Amber and Ashley…has one brother, John…his father played football at Cal State Northridge from 1975 to 1977…respects his parents the most because they do so much for him…favorite movie is "Sandlot"…lists biggest athletic highlight as being named to the U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team.
