2017 (JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Placed fourth in the 400m hurdles with a season-best run of 53.97 at the Big West Championships...a part of the CSUN 4x400m relay team that placed seventh at the Big West Championships with a time of 3:18.32...posted a time of 23.00 in the 200m and 52.71 in the 400m at the Ben Brown Invite.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
PRIOR TO CSUN: A member of the track and field team at Diablo Valley College from 2015-16...captured the Big 8 400m hurdles championship and was part of the 4x400m relay team that also won the Big 8 Championship...graduated in 2016.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2014 graduate of Pittsburg High School...played four years of football and ran for years of track for the Pirates...earned All-League honors in both sports.
PERSONAL: Son of Martha and Reynaldo Hurtado...has two brothers, Marcos and Reynaldo Jr...majoring in Marine Biology...favorites include the San Diego Chargers and Philip Rivers, Robert Downey Jr. and "Parks and Recreation"...says nobody know how much he loves steak.
