2010 (SENIOR)
OUTDOOR: Qualified for the Big West Championship in the 100 and 200 meters as well as the 4x400 relay...finished 14th in the 100 meter prelims in a time of :11.02 and was sixth in the 200 meter final in a time of :22.24...the Matadors finished eighth in the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:22.29...helped the Northridge men to a fourth-place finish at the Cal-Nevada Championships after running a career-best of :10.76 in the 100 and season-best :21.85 in the 200...the Matadors ran a season-best 3:17.00 in the 4x400 relay...clocked a season-best :49.80 in the 400 at the Sun Angel Track Classic.
INDOOR: Matched his indoor career-best with a time of :6.98 in the 60 meters at the UW Invitational.
2009 (JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Made his NCAA Regional debut as as a member of the Northridge 4x100 meter relay...ran the third leg of the relay that posted a season-best :40.13 in the prelims before clocking a time of :40.30 in the final which was good for fourth place...finished sixth in the 200 meters in a time of :21.83 at the Big West Championship...ran :21.73 in the prelims to advance to the final...ran :48.87 in the 400 prelims but did not advance to the final ... ran a lifetime-best :10.91 in the 100 meters at the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational...ran a 200 season-best of :21.65 and a 400 season-best of :48.04 at the Cal-Nevada Championship.
INDOOR: Clocked an indoor season-best :6.98 in the 60 meter prelims at the MPSF Championship...also posted a season-best :21.96 in the 200 meter prelims...ran the second leg of the Matadors' 4x400 relay that finished eighth in a season-best 3:17.64.
PRIOR TO CSUN: Spent two seasons (2006-07) at City College of San Francisco...earned CCCAA All-American honors in the 200 meters and 4x100 relay in 2007...posted season-bests of :10.70 in the 100 meters, :21.30 in the 200 meters and 47.3 in the 400 meters...the Rams’ track team won a Coast Conference championships in 2007...earned his associate of arts degree in 2007.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2005 graduate of Mt. Eden High School...competed in track, football, and wrestling...a two-time team captain and MVP (2004, 2005) for the Monarch track team...the track team won the All-Hayward Area Athletic League championship in 2003.
PERSONAL: Son of Geraldine and Michael Taylor...major is Psychology...has two brothers, Michael and Christopher...also runs for the SF Senators...chose Northridge over Washington, California, Arizona State, Arizona, Florida, Baylor and Oregon...favorites include actor Denzel Washington, the TV show “Scrubs”, the movie “Belly” and the music of Pharrelle...says the toughest thing about being an
