2010 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the CSUN program.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Birmingham High School in Van Nuys, Calif...competed in track and field, cross country and football...ran in the 400 meters and the 4x400 relay...earned All-City honors in the 4x400 relay in 2009...best time in the 400 was :50.86.
PERSONAL: Son of Yesenia Gamboa-Nunez and Angel Gamboa...major is Computer Engineering...stepfather is Eliazar Nunez...has two younger brothers, Alex and Marc Anthony...favorites include Denver Broncos and cornerback Champ Bailey, actor Denzel Washington and the movie “Training Day”...says the best thing about being an athlete is “being healthy”.
