OUTDOOR: Made his second straight appearance in the NCAA West Region Championships after qualifying in both the high jump and javelin...narrowly missed the NCAA Championships in the decathlon...finished 26th in the javelin with a best of 196-1 and was 34th in the high jump after clearing 6-7...was named Big West Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Year...finished a career-best third in the decathlon at the Big West Championship after scoring 6,995 points...scored a career-best 7,170 points at the Northridge
Invitational which is sixth in Matador history...won his first conference high jump title after clearing a career-best 6-10 1/4 was second
in the javelin with a toss of 194-3 and took sixth in the Big West in the 110 hurdle final in a time of :14.88 ... completed his Big West performance with a seventh-place finish in the long jump at 23-1 3/4 which gave him 29 points for the champion Matador men's team...ran a lifetime-best :14.65 in the 110 hurdles at the Tommie Lister Classic and clocked a season-best :11.40 in the 100 meters...
threw a season-best 199-9 in the javelin at the Northridge Invitational.
INDOOR: Finished fourth in the heptathlon at the MPSF Championship after scoring 5,268 points...scored an indoor season-best 5,283 points at the season-opening UW Invitational...ran an indoor season-best :8.46 in the 60 meter hurdles at the MPSF Championship and also jumped a season-best 21-11 (6.68) in the long jump...named Academic All-MPSF.
2009 (JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Made his NCAA Regional debut in the javelin finishing 12th with a bet mark of 200-5...finished fourth in his first Big West Championship decathlon, scoring a season-best 6,592 points which ranks 11th in the CSUN record books...won his first Big West Conference championship in the javelin after posting a career-best mark of 209-2 which ranks fourth in Northridge history...finished eighth in the 110 meter hurdles in :15.12 after running :14.86 in the prelims...was 14th in the high jump with a best height of 6-2 1/4...ran a season-best :14.78 in the 110 hurdles at the Cal-Nevada Championships at UCLA ...top high jump of the season (6-7)
came during the Big West decathlon as did best long jump (23-1 3/4).

the UW Indoor Invitational ....ran an indoor season-best :8.32 in the 60 meter hurdles at the Bengal Shootout (Jan. 16)...cleared a best of 6-10 1/4 in the high jump and 22-9 (6.93) in the long jump at the the UW Invitational.
PRIOR TO CSUN: Competed in the decathlon at Riverside City College...named Multi-Event Athlete of the Year in his one season competing for the Tigers...also was named Most Valuable Field Athlete and Student of Distinction ... the track team won the state championship in 2008...earned a 3.5 grade point average.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2005 graduate of Murrieta Valley High School...earned letters in both track and football...competed in the high jump, triple jump and long jump as well as the 110 hurdles and 4x400 relay.
