CSUNÂ - 2021Â (Redshirt Junior)
Daniel Wetter appeared in all 11 matches and 41 sets in his third season ... started all 11 matches during the abbreviated season ... earned first team All-Big West honors after leading the Matadors in kills per set (2.68) as well as hitting percentage (.442) which ranked third in the Big West and eighth nationally ... finished the season with a team-high 110 kills and 14 errors on 217 total attacks ... was named Big West Player of the Week on Mar. 22 after leading the Matadors to a split in their season-opening series with No. 12 UC Irvine (Mar. 20-21) ... led the Matadors with 11 kills, hitting .474 on 19 swings while also added four blocks, three digs and a pair of aces in the opener before matching the CSUN program record for a single match by hitting .929 with 13 kills in 14 errorless attacks the Matadors’ 3-1 win in the finale ... put down a career-high 18 kills on a career-high 30 attacks in CSUN's first round Big West Championship match vs. UC San Diego (Apr. 22).
CSUNÂ - 2020Â (Redshirt Sophomore)
Wetter appeared in all 15 matches and 58 sets as a redshirt sophomore ... started all 15 matches ... was named honorable mention on the 2020 NVA/AVCA All-America Team in addition to first team All-Big West ... was the national leader in hitting percentage at .528 after putting down 159 kills with just 26 errors on 252 attacks ... averaged a career-high 2.74 kills per set which ranked second on the Matadors behind Kyle Hobus (3.02) ... hit .350 or better in 14 of CSUN's 15 matches and hit .500 or better 12 times in 15 matches ... reached double figures in kills 11 times during the season ... connected for a career-high 15 kills on .550 hitting at Lindenwood (Feb. 8) ... put down 14 kills on three other occasions; vs. Concordia (Jan. 10), vs. Menlo (Jan. 24) and vs. Cal Lutheran (Jan. 25) ... took a career-high 28 swings against USC (Jan. 31), connecting for 12 kills on .357 hitting ... served a career-high three aces twice; vs. Cal Lutheran (Jan. 25) and vs. Vanguard (Feb. 21) ... posted a season-high five blocks in three different matches.

Wetter started all 25 CSUN matches as a redshirt freshman in 2019 ... was named to the Big West All-Freshman Team ... was a two-time Big West Freshman of the Week selection (Apr. 8, Jan. 7) ... finished fourth on the Matadors with 176 kills while hitting a team-high .402 on 331 attacks ... was the teams' leading blocker with 81 total blocks which included a team-high 10 solo blocks ... also chipped in 29 digs and 10 aces on the season ... notched his first collegiate kill and first block in CSUN's 3-1 win over No. 12 Concordia-Irvine (Jan. 3) ... had a season-high 13 kills on two occasions; at No. 13 Purdue-Fort Wayne (Jan. 18) and against No. 8 UC Irvine (Apr. 5) ... also had 12 kills against Harvard (Jan. 4) and 10 kills at No. 14 Ball State (Jan. 19) and against UC San Diego (Apr. 13) ... hit a season-high .889 with eight kills on nine swings at Cal Lutheran (Feb. 15) ... posted a season-high six blocks in four different matches, the last against No. 3 UC Santa Barbara (Mar. 30) ... served a pair of aces at No. 13 Purdue-Fort Wayne.Â

Wetter lettered in both volleyball and basketball at Adolfo Camarillo High School in Camarillo, Calif. ... earned first team All-Coastal Canyon League in volleyball in 2017 ... was also named team Most Valuable Player as a senior ... played both middle blocker and opposite for the Scorpions ... also played forward for the Camarillo basketball team ... graduated in 2017.
