2015 (R-SENIOR): Named first team All-Conference...appeared in 40 games in her senior season at CSUN...named first team All-Conference for second-straight season...finished the year with 18-6 with a 2.25 ERA, 11 complete games, three shutouts and 190 strikeouts in 180.2 innings of work...limited opponents to a .205 batting average...led the Big West in Ks/game and opponent batting average...ranked among the league’s top 10 in wins, ERA, innings pitched and shutouts...the 190 strikeouts are the most by a Matador since the 1999 season...finished with a season-high 15 strikeouts in win vs. Utah State on Feb. 15...had 12 strikeouts in season-opening victory over Wisconsin on Feb. 6...had 10 strikeouts in a victory at Grand Canyon on Feb. 20...posted 8-3 record with 1.98 ERA and 67 strikeouts in 74.1 innings of work...finished seventh in school history in games pitched (109), tied for 10th in career wins (43), tied for 10th in career saves (3), tied for 10th in career innings (466) and sixth in career strikeouts (363).
2014 (R-JUNIOR): Chosen first team All-Conference and third-team NFCA All-West Region...appeared in 39 games and made 33 starts ...finished season with 22 wins, becoming the first 20-game winner at CSUN since the 2001 season...posted a 2.58 ERA with 134 strikeouts in 193 innings of work...produced 18 complete games and five shutouts...her strikeouts, complete games and shutouts were the most at CSUN since 2008...recorded her first three career saves...named Big West Pitcher of the Week three times...struck out a career-high 13 batters in a win over Portland State...also posted 11 strikeouts in a victory over Oregon State...tossed a career-high eight innings against Cal Poly...went 6-8 with a 3.72 ERA and 41 strikeouts in 73.1 innings against Big West opponents...finished the year ranked among the league leaders in wins, ERA, strikeouts, opponent batting average (.235), saves and innings pitched.
2013 (R-SOPHOMORE): Appeared in 15 games and made eight starts...finished 2-4 with a 3.11 ERA with 20 strikeouts in 47.1 innings of work...earned first win of the season by tossing a complete game with one unearned run at UC Davis...second win came in a shutout performance against Cal Poly.
2012 (R-FRESHMAN): Pitched in 15 games and made five starts...finished the year 1-5 with a 3.73 ERA, two complete games, 19 strikeouts and a .325 opponent batting average in 45 innings of work...won her first career start by tossing 4.1 innings of one-run softball against Utah State...tossed a season-high eight innings with six strikeouts against UC Davis.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2010 graduate of Concord High School...a four-year letter winner for the Minutemen...named to the All-Diablo Valley Athletic League team following all four seasons...named the 2010 East Bay Softball Player of the Year by the Contra Costa Times...during 2010 season, posted 0.38 ERA as pitcher and batted .383 with 22 RBIs at the plate.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Cindy Sawtelle and Jim Elder... majoring in communications....stepfather is Bill Sawtelle...stepmother is Kathy Elder...has two brothers, Garrett and Ben, and two sisters, Courtney and Danielle...favorites include the San Francisco Giants and their catcher Buster Posey, Netflix, “Grey’s Anatomy”, “New Girl”, “Desperate Housewives”, “The Real World” and Luke Bryan...would like to switch places with Carrie Underwood for a day...could not live without chap stick...lists her parents as her greatest heroes.
