2019 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 25 games primarily as a pinch-runner…scored two runs…stole one base in two attempts…was 0-for-2 with one strikeout at the plate.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2018 graduate of Whittier High School…coach was Lindsay Knoff…was named Offensive Player of the Year as a senior after hitting .450 as a senior with 10 RBI, a .537 slugging, and .511 on-base percentage…named second team All-League in 2017 and first team All-League in 2016…ended prep career with a .373 career batting average, 63 career runs scored, and 33 career runs batted in.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Janice Duran…undecided upon a major…sister Sam played softball at UCLA…favorites include the Los Angeles Dodgers, Jelly Felix, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johannson, 13 Reasons Why, The Kissing Booth, Panic! At the Disco, and Nicki Minaj…chose CSUN for its location and the coaching staff…something interesting that few people know is that she was the tallest person in her fourth grade class…her advice to young people is “don’t grow up too fast.”
