2014 (SENIOR)
OUTDOOR: Reset career-best when she cleared 12-1 1/2 at the Longhorn Invitational May 3...finished ninth in the Big West Championship on the pole vault May 16...tied career best with a sixth at the Fresno State Bulldog Invitational Apr. 26 by clearing a then-career best 11-7 3/4…named Academic All-Conference.
INDOOR: Entered one event, the Mountain T's Invitational, but did not clear a height in the pole vault...named Academic All-MPSF.
2013 (JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Cleared an outdoor season best 10-8 in the pole vault at the season-opening Northridge Invitational (Mar.15)...finished sixth at the Mt. SAC Relays by going 10-2.
INDOOR: Cleared a best of 10-8 in the pole vault to finish fourth at the NYU Team Challenge (Jan. 19).
PRIOR TO CSUN:Â Spent two seasons (2011-12) at De Anza College...was a pole vaulter for the Dons and coach Nick Mattis...is the school's record holder at 10-10 which she set during the 2011 season...earned the Scholar Athlete Award in 2012...earned her Associate of Arts degree in 2012.
HIGH SCHOOL:Â A 2010 graduate of Lynbrook High School...competed in the pole vault and was also a sprinter for the Vikings and coach Ray Wright...top pole vault was 9-6 in 2010 which is also a school record...also competed in cross country.
PERSONAL:Â Daughter of Giannina and Charles Tucker...major is philosophy...has one younger sister, Andrea...favorites include actor Jason Segal, "That 70's Show", chocolate and the band Death Cab for Cutie...says the best thing about being an athlete is "being in great shape" and the toughest is "the dedication and sacrifices"...likes to read, surf the internet, hang out with friends and sew in her spare time.
