2014 (SENIOR)
OUTDOOR: Posted career bests in the shot put and the hammer throw at the Big West Championship (May 15-16)...finished fourth in the shot with a toss 47-4 1/4...was ninth in the hammer (162-0)...finished second in the shot at the Fresno State Bulldog Invitational (Apr. 26) with a throw of 46-2...was fourth in the shot (43-5) and the hammer (156-11) at the Rainbow Relays (Apr. 11-12)…named Academic All-Conference.
INDOOR: Placed 15th in the shot put at the MPSF Championship (42-5 1/4)...reset indoor best in the shot with a toss of 46-2 at the Texas A&M Invitational Feb. 15...was fifth at Texas A&M...placed fourth in the shot to open the season at the Great Dane Classic (45-9 3/4) on Jan. 17...named Academic All-MPSF.
2013 (JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Finished seventh in the shot put at the Big West Championship (May 11)...recorded a lifetime best 46-4 3.4 at the conference meet which was the second-best mark on the squad in 2013...also posted a career best 133-11 in the discus at the Northridge Invitational Mar. 16....charted a season best 136-2 in the hammer throw at the Northridge Invitational.
INDOOR: Placed a CSUN best 15th in the shot put at the MPSF Championship after recording a season best 44-11 1/2...named Academic All-MPSF.
2012 (SOPHOMORE)
OUTDOOR: Finished sixth in the shot put at the Big West Championship (May 12)...best mark in the championship was 42 3/4...season best of 44-5 1/4 came at the Cal State LA Twilight Open (Apr. 19) where she finished in third place...posted a bests of 127-2 in the discus at the adidas Steve Scott Invitational (Apr. 29)...posted a best of 138-2 in the hammer throw to finish seventh at the Rainbow Relays (Mar. 23).
INDOOR: Posted CSUN's top shot put of the indoor season after posting a mark of 41-8 1/2 at the Great Dane Classic in New York (Jan. 20)...finished 19th at the MPSF Championship with a top throw of 38-10 1/4...named Academic All-MPSF.
2011 (FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Finished sixth in the shot put at the Big West Championship with a top throw of 42-7...her throw was a season-best and ranked second among Matador throwers...also posted season-bests of 120-0 in the discus at the Aztec Invitational and 117-11 at the Northridge Invitational in the hammer throw.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
HIGH SCHOOL
A 2010 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, Calif...was the Mission League champion in both the shot put and discus as a senior...threw bests of 40-0 in the shot put and 125-0 in the discus...earned first team All-Mission League honors as a guard/forward for the Knights basketball team who won CIF Southern Section in 2009...graduated with a 3.0 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Patricia and Fred Hubbard...major is journalism...has one older brother, Blair...her mother attended Winston-Salem State and father attended Livingstone College...favorites include the Boston Celtics, Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic, actors Will Smith and Julia Roberts, the TV show"Cold Case" and the movie "Love & Basketball"...says the best thing about being an athlete is "the opportunities it can provide you" and the toughest thing is "balancing athletics and schoolwork"...says her iPod is the one possession she could not live without.
