ACCORDING TO ASSISTANT COACH JACOB YOWELL
"A majority of the group who competed today didn't travel to the MPSF Championships or traveled sparingly during the indoor season. This meet provided a chance for them to shake the rust off and kick off the outdoor season right. For the most part, I believe our group took advantage of the great weather and the opportunity to compete. We walked away with quite a few personal records and established marks to go beat over the next few meets. More importantly, I felt we built some confidence today, which will be key going into the rest of the outdoors. Excited to get the whole team in action together in two weeks at USC."
UP NEXT
CSUN has two meets on tap in two weeks as the Matadors head to the UC Riverside Spring Track Classic from March 21-22 while the team also sends student-athletes to USC's Ron & Sharlene Allice Trojan Invitational on March 23.
