2010 (R-SENIOR): Appeared in eight matches.
2009 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the CSUN program.
2008 (JUNIOR): Played in all but one game (18 of 19), and was named to the starting line-up on one occasion…took ten total shots, three of them on-goal…finished the season with two total points…earned assists in back-to-back games against UC Santa Barbara (Oct. 29) and UC Riverside (Nov. 1).
PRIOR TO CSUN: A member of the men’s soccer program at Vanguard University from 2006-07…scored 12 goals in his two seasons with the Lions.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of John Burroughs High School…played one season for Michael Kodoma, helping team to 12-4 record in 2005 ... earned All-Foothill League honors.
PERSONAL: Son of Connie and Carlos Leiva…favorites include Real Madrid and footballer Ronaldinho…chose Cal State Northridge because of its educational programs and the soccer…lists former Matador Sean Franklin as the toughest player he's ever competed against.
