2012 (R-SENIOR): Posted a career best 175-2 at the Cal State LA Tiny Lister Classic to finish fourth...won the javelin at the Rainbow Relays with a toss of 160-6...finished 10th in the javelin at the Big West Championships (153-8).
INDOOR: Did not compete.
2011 (R-JUNIOR): Finished 11th in the javelin at the Big West Championships (160-9)...season-best of 175-0 came at the Asics/Steve Scott Invitational where he placed 10th.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
2010 (REDSHIRT): Redshirted the indoor and outdoor seasons for the Matadors.
PRIOR TO CSUN: Spent two seasons (2008-09) as a thrower at Glendale College...was a two-time honorable mention All-Western State Conference honoree...named Most Improved Athlete in 2008...posted a best in the javelin of 174-6.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Shorecrest High School...competed as a safety and running back for the Highlanders football team from 2005-07...the team won the Wesco South football championship in 2006...graduated with a 3.2 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Born in Anchorage, Alaska...major is sociology...favorites include the Seattle Seahawks and former NBA star Michael Jordan...says he chose Northridge because of the coaching staff...lists Bob Marley as the one person in history he would like to meet...says he couldn't imagine going a week without working out.
