2012 (SENIOR)
OUTDOOR: Advanced to the NCAA West Regional for third year in a row, running :14.25 in the first round but did not advance...finished fourth in the 110m hurdles at the Big West Championship (:14.25)...helped CSUN win the 4x100m relay in a time of :40.25...posted career best in the 200m (:21.97) at the adidas/Steve Scott Invitational...was fourth in the 110m hurdles at the Stanford Invitational (:14.48).
INDOOR: Finished second in the 60m hurdles at the MPSF Championship by running a career best :7.99, the fifth fastest time in school history...won the 60m hurdles at the Jackson Invitational (:8.03)...was second in the 60m hurdles at the Boise State Team Challenge (:8.03).
2011 (JUNIOR)
OUTDOOR: Made his second straight trip to the NCAA West Preliminaries in the 110m hurdles...ran :14.25 in the prelims and finished one spot out of qualifying for the semifinals...won his first Big West 110m hurdles title in a career best :14.09...his time ranks sixth in Northridge history...became the sixth CSUN hurdler to win the 110 title in the last eight years...also spent time during the season as a member of the 4x100 relay team...also clocked a lifetime-best 55.24 in the 400 hurdles at the Cal State LA Twilight Open.
INDOOR: Placed third in the 60m hurdles at the MPSF Championship...clocked a career best time of :8.09 in the final which ranks fourth in Matador indoor history.
2010 (SOPHOMORE)
OUTDOOR: Earned his second straight berth in the NCAA West Region Championships and first in the 110m hurdles...finished 28th in the prelims in a time of :14.47...finished a career-best second in the 110m hurdles at the Big West Championship posting a time of :14.62...ran a season best :14.40 in the preliminary round...competed in his second Big West decathlon but did not finish day one's competition....ran a personal-best :10.79 in the 100 meters at the Steve Scott Invitational...had a lifetime-best :22.34 in the 200 at the Sun Angel Track Classic in Tempe, Ariz.
INDOOR: Finished fifth in the 60 meter hurdles at the MPSF Championship in a career-best :8.23...ran a season best :7.04 in the 60m prelims...scored a season best 4,322 points in the heptathlon at the UW Invitational.
2009 (FRESHMAN)
OUTDOOR: Made his NCAA Regional debut as he was among six Matador sprinters available for the 4x100 meter relay...finished sixth in the 110m hurdles at the Big West Championships in a time of :14.84...clocked a season-best :14.77 in the prelims of the Cal-Nevada Championships before running :14.96 in the final to take eighth...had Northridge's best 400m hurdles time of the season with a :57.01 at the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner Kersee Invitational...finished seventh in his first Big West decathlon scoring a career-high 6,078 points which included 890 points in the 100 and 834 points in the 110 hurdles.
INDOOR: Ran a season-best :8.31 in the prelims of the 60m hurdles at the MPSF Championship but did not reach the event final...posted a season-best :7.11 in the prelims of the 60m.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2008 graduate of Mountain Pointe High School...earned All-City honors for the Pride track team...was also Central Region champion as well as state champion...also ran the relays for the track squad and played wide receiver, quarterback, cornerback and safety for the football team...graduated with a 3.0 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Son of Audra Hines and stepfather is Kelvin Hines...major is accounting...also runs for the Do Right Track Club...was also recruited by Colorado State, Purdue, Navy, Arizona State and Northern Arizona...favorites include the Dallas Cowboys, actor Will Smith, the movie "The Wood" and the band LSG...says the best thing about being an athlete is "we get to travel"...says the toughest thing about being an athlete in "we miss a lot of class".
